Work in hospitals in the temporarily occupied territories is not cooperation with the aggressor
The government continues to accrue and pay salaries to doctors in those regions of Ukraine where the Russian Federation is trying to establish its occupation power.

Work in medical institutions in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine will not be regarded as cooperation with the aggressor.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko said this in an interview with the Public.
“We have already said several times and continue to repeat that work in hospitals in the temporarily occupied territories is not cooperation with the aggressor. This will not be regarded as a crime and collaboration activity,” Lyashko said.
He added that the government continues to accrue and pay salaries to doctors who work in these territories.
The Minister also said that there is no shortage of medical workers in Ukraine.
“During the war period, according to official statistics, 0.5% of medical workers left Ukraine, in fact we see a little more, but this figure does not exceed 2%,” Lyashko said.
Earlier, UNIAN has already reported that more than 15 million Ukrainians will need psychological help after the war.
