Due to rising unemployment and salary cuts the demand for both full-time employment and part-time work has increased in the labor market.

“The war forced many Ukrainians to look for additional earnings. According to the NBU, salaries in Ukraine decreased by 25-50% after February 24. Therefore, the demand for both full-time employment and part-time work has increased in the labor market. Moreover, employers themselves are ready to take for temporary employment to perform urgent tasks,” the portal’s analysts say.

Mostly in July, employers offered part-time jobs in the field of job vacancies. It was both temporary, seasonal work and part-time work. Most of the options to earn additional funds were in the construction industry for laborers. They could receive from UAH 700 to 1,550 per service or per shift.

There were also many offers for part-time employment in the transport industry, in particular, for drivers. For a month at such a job, one could get from UAH 17.8 thousand to UAH 25 thousand, depending on the type of employment. Lots of cleaning options. Thus, cleaners on average could receive from 1.5 thousand UAH on a part-time job to 9 thousand UAH in temporary work.

It is noted that at the same time there were opportunities for part-time employment for non-working specialties. In particular, many options for tutors were posted on “OLX Robot” in July, who were offered 175-215 UAH per hour of work. Sales managers could receive up to UAH 11,000 monthly in part-time employment.
