July in Ukrainian labor market Retail specialists (salespeople, cashiers, sales floor administrators) and sales managers remain traditionally in demand.

This is evidenced by the results of a study submitted to UNIAN by the expert-analytical center of the grc.ua personnel portal.

According to the portal analysts, the share of vacancies for these specialists on the portal in July was 26.4%, and since April the number of job offers for them has been steadily increasing.

β€œThe number of vacancies for students and specialists who are just starting their careers has significantly increased. Companies, in their desire to optimize the salary fund, are ready to hire low-cost specialists without experience and independently train them in the skills and knowledge necessary for work,” analysts noted.

Jobs for students in July forced out the IT sector from the traditional second place. The decrease in the share of vacancies for IT specialists has been going on since May. Over the past month, the number of offers in the field of IT, Internet, telecom has not changed. However, against the backdrop of positive dynamics in the number of vacancies in other industries, the share of vacancies for IT specialists has decreased. So, at the end of spring, offers for IT specialists accounted for 13.5% of all relevant in June – 12.2%, in July – 10%.

The largest dynamics in the number of job offers is for accountants and management accountants. Since April, the number of vacancies for these specialists has been steadily increasing, and the percentage of vacancies in the overall structure of job offers has almost reached the pre-war level.

“Professions in which the most difficult to find work have remained unchanged since the beginning of the war. The least vacancies are in the civil service, in insurance, in the automotive business, in the extraction of raw materials. Lawyers, educators, domestic staff, workers also face a low number of job offers. sports clubs and fitness trainers, specialists in the field of installation and service, as well as in the field of procurement,” grc.ua noted.

As UNIAN reported, the number vacancies for IT professionals in Ukraine is now 4.8 times less than it was before the start of a full-scale war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
