USAID Provides Additional $1.8 Million to World Health Organization to Maintain Business Continuity health care in Ukraine.

This is stated in a message on the Facebook page of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

“USAID has allocated an additional $1.8 million to WHO to improve infectious disease detection and surveillance in Ukraine,” the note reads.

It is noted that in the context of the war and the most acute humanitarian crisis in the WHO European Region in recent decades, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine is trying to meet the basic needs for the provision of medical services, as well as the need for medicines.

“In particular, this assistance should target the most vulnerable groups, including people with special needs, those living in remote areas, and internally displaced persons (IDPs),” the statement said.
