Ukrainian military has not yet left Severodonetsk

According to the head of the regional state administration Roman Vlasenko, fighting is taking place everywhere in the Severodonetsk direction, including nearby villages.

The Ukrainian military needs time to leave Severodonetsk, but there is no talk of leaving Lysychansk. About it informed head of the Severodonetsk regional state administration Roman Vlasenko in a commentary to Radio Liberty.

According to him, Russian troops are attacking the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the entire set of artillery, including Tochka-U, and aircraft. The enemy is advancing in all directions:

  • Lisichansk
  • road Bakhmat-Lysichansk
  • Severodonetsk direction – the villages of Sinetskoye, Pavlograd, Sirotino, Borovskoye

There are battles going on in all these directions. However, the Ukrainian military has not yet left Severodonetsk.

“This is not a question of an hour or a day. It may take some time,” Vlasenko said.

He also added that there was no talk of withdrawing from Lisichansk.

Now about 7-8 thousand people remain in Severodonetsk, and 10 thousand in Lisichansk. Before the Russian invasion, up to 200,000 people lived in both cities.

Recall, the head of the Luhansk OVA Serhiy Gaidai said that Ukrainian military received an order to withdraw from Severodonetsk to other fortified positions. However, the General Staff or the Ministry of Defense did not comment on this information.

Also a fighter of the “International Regiment” published a video of the fighting in Severodonetsk.
