Ukraine receives weapons that even the German army does not have – UNIAN
From the first days of a full-scale invasion, Germany has been supplying the Armed Forces with weapons and ammunition, Scholz said.

Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz stated that the media information about the reduction of military support for Ukraine is not true.
He stated this in an interview Globe and Mail.
The head of the German government replied that “from the first days after Russia’s attack on Ukraine,” the country has been supplying weapons and ammunition to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“We delivered everything we had: anti-tank and anti-aircraft systems, mines, guns, tons of ammunition and non-lethal assistance. Since then, we have switched to more complex and expensive systems. Self-propelled howitzers, multiple launch rocket systems, anti-aircraft systems, countermeasure radar Some of these systems are so new that very few have been produced, and some of them have not even been introduced to the Bundeswehr,” says Scholz.
Germany, he added, also provides training for Ukrainian crews.
“As we speak, Ukrainians are being trained on new and more sophisticated equipment at several locations in Germany. And we will continue to provide this support to Ukraine for as long as it takes,” Scholz added.
As UNIAN wrote with reference to the German media, transfer to Ukraine of German air defense systems Iris-T SLM delayed due to lack of permission from German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
The deal was approved by the German Ministry of Economy, but the final permit must be issued by the Federal Security Council.
