Information platform “Children of War” launched in Ukraine. It will help parents and law enforcement collect information about childrenwho suffered during the war, in particular, went missing or were illegally deported to Russia.

About this during the briefing told Commissioner of the President of Ukraine for the Rights of the Child and Child Rehabilitation Daria Gerasimchuk.

It is noted that due to shelling and constant hostilities by the occupiers, the number of children physically suffering from the war is increasing daily: 684 are injured, 358 are killed, 197 are missing and at least 5,703 are illegally deported to Russia. According to Gerasimchuk, as of July 28, law enforcement officers found 3,833 children, and 47 more were returned from deportation.

“This portal was created as a tool to search for children, save them and release them from places of forced displacement or deportation. The information posted here is a clear evidence of the genocide of Ukrainian children and crimes against humanity that the Russian army commits daily against the Ukrainian people,” she stressed.

It is added that the platform has two main functions: to inform and help to find children.

Recall that earlier the media wrote that the Russian Federation confirmed deportation of 448 thousand Ukrainian children.
