The State Duma proposed to cancel fines for debts for housing and communal services for mobilized

This proposal was made in the State Duma Committee on Construction and Housing.

Although those who fell under the mobilization will still have to pay a mortgage from the “pay”, as declared yesterday the head of the State Duma Committee on Defense Andrei Kartapolov, they want to release them from some duties (which is logical). How write “Izvestia”, the government was offered to introduce a moratorium on the accrual of penalties for non-payment of housing and communal services. Thus, the mobilized will be exempt from fines. The same conditions are proposed to be introduced for volunteers.

The author of the initiative, Deputy Oleksandr Yakubovsky, commented on the initiative: “The President clearly formulated the tasks for the government and the State Duma – we must provide a reliable rear for the defenders of our country and Donbass, as well as the territories of Ukraine liberated from the neo-Nazi regime.”

Therefore, the State Duma is now actively developing a list of guarantees for those who return home after a special operation. According to Pavel Sklyanchuk, an expert at the ONF “Housing and Urban Environment” platform, this “will allow citizens to fulfill their military duty without regard to social and domestic issues.”

Yesterday the Central Bank also recommended banks to provide credit holidays for contractors and mobilized.
