The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia saw in the materials of the author of the YouTube channel “KraSava” Yevgeny Savin signs of crimes under articles 207.3 and 280.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. About it says in the response of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Moscow to the appeal of State Duma deputy Roman Teryushkov.

From the response of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, it follows that Teryushkov sent some information materials to the police, which contain “fakes” about the army and are aimed at “discrediting” the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The MP claims that these are “public statements of the football blogger and Ukrainian propagandist Yevgeny Savin.” The police handed over the collected material to the Investigative Committee, so that they could decide whether to open a criminal case or not.

On April 18, Evgeny Savin published on YouTube video about the war in Ukraine. Ukrainian football players Andrey Yarmolenko, Andrey Voronin, Vitaliy Mykolenko, Alexander Aliyev, as well as refugees from Ukraine participated in the recording. “The war that our country unleashed in Mariupol alone has already claimed more lives of civilians and children than in eight years in the Donbass. April 20 Deputy Roman Teryushkov declaredwhich will send a deputy’s request to the Prosecutor General’s Office with a request to check the statements of Yevgeny Savin and give them a legal assessment.

After Savin’s performance, his Krasava football club was banned from training at the stadium in Krasnogorsk. In May Evgeny Savin left Russia and registered his club in Cyprus.

Evgeny Savin is a former professional football player. After completing his sports career, he was one of the hosts of the Cult Tour program and commented on football matches on Match TV. His YouTube channel KraSava has over 1.1 million subscribers. In 2021, Savin founded the Krasava football club, which in the 2021/2022 season made its debut in the National Football League Division II.
