The flow of tourists has increased in Yakutia

The number of tourists visiting Yakutia increased significantly in April compared to the same period in 2021. Data on visits to the region was analyzed by MTS, Yakutia reported on June 21. daily.

Most visits to the republic were recorded during the last week of April, when the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Yakut Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic was celebrated in Yakutia.

Most often, tourists visited the Komsomolskaya Square of Yakutsk, the historical quarter of the city and the embankment of the Lena River. About 70 percent of visitors are residents of Moscow and St. Petersburg, and about a third of the guests are from Siberia and the regions of the Far East.
