The first ship with Ukrainian grain left the port of Odessa since the end of February, informs Reuters and also confirm Anadolu with reference to the Turkish Ministry of Defense and Control strategic communications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Sierra Leone-flagged Razoni vessel headed for Lebanon. It carries 26 thousand tons of corn.

This is the first ship with Ukrainian grain that left the port of Odessa since the beginning of Russia’s hostilities on the territory of Ukraine. “It will move along the corridor, the security of which is confirmed by our guarantor partners – the UN and Turkey,” said the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov.

On July 22 in Istanbul it was signed agreement on the export of Ukrainian grain. Russia and Ukraine have signed separate agreements with Turkey and the UN. The contracts describe the mechanism for the export of grain from the ports of Odessa, Chernomorsk and Yuzhny. According to the documents, the parties agreed to create a safe corridor for the export of food by sea. At the entrance and exit to the Black Sea, the quadripartite coordination center will check the ships.

The day after the signing of the treaty, July 23, the port of Odessa came under fire. Kyiv claimed that the blow was delivered on the part of the port where the grain was located, but the granary was not damaged. Ministry of Defense of Russia statedthat the Russian military launched a missile attack on the shipyard.
