The export ban is announced in the decree Governments No. 666 dated June 10, 2022.
The Government of Ukraine has made changes to the list of goods, the export and import of which are subject to licensing, and quotas for 2022.
Thus, now zero quotas are set for:
- liquid fuel (fuel oil);
- coal, anthracite; briquettes, pellets and similar fuels processed from hard coal (other than coking coal);
- natural gas of Ukrainian origin.

Changes were made to the resolution due to the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and the introduction of martial law in Ukraine.
We previously wrote that The Cabinet of Ministers has created a headquarters to prepare Ukraine for the heating season. At the same time, it is expected that Ukraine will not sell the extracted resources abroad. Ukrainian gas and coal will be used for domestic needs of the population.
