Zelensky called the share of the damaged energy infrastructure of Ukraine

The president Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky stated that because of the blows Russian Armed Forces 40% of the country’s energy infrastructure was damaged, he gave such an assessment during a meeting with European Commissioner for Energy Kadri Simson, writes RBC. Previously, the share of damage was estimated by the Ukrainian leadership at 30%.

Formerly mayor of the Ukrainian capital Vitaliy Klichko said that as a result of attacks on the infrastructure of Kyiv, an energy facility was damaged, supplying electricity to 350,000 apartments in the city. According to the mayor, at the moment, Ukrenergo specialists, employees of the energy company DTEK and emergency services have begun repairing the power facility.

Following Kyiv, a series of explosions thundered in the Dnieper, Lvov, Ternopil, Vinnitsa, Khmelnitsky and Zhytomyr regions of Ukraine.
