The Federation Council called the conditions for negotiations between Russia and Ukraine

“In the end, there will definitely be negotiations, but they will be very difficult, very complicated. <...> In my opinion, they will only take place when the Europeans and Americans are “ripe” for this,” the senator said in an interview with TASS.

Tsekov stressed that if the US and EU will continue to provoke conflict, there will be no negotiations. According to the politician, today the achievement of any result on the basis of the results of the negotiations seems unlikely, since the Ukrainian side takes a position that is unacceptable to Russia.

“We must remember how the special military operation began. The issues of demilitarization and denazification are not removed from the agenda,” the senator stressed.

He added that Russia would not accept the existence of a Nazi state that would constantly threaten it.

Formerly Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergei Ryabkov stated that Moscow is ready to start negotiations with Kyiv without any preconditions. According to him, Ukraine itself interrupted the dialogue at the command of its Western curators.

On the night of February 24 Vladimir Putin announced that he had decided to conduct a special operation in the Donbass. The heads of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics asked the President of the Russian Federation for help in repelling aggression from the Armed Forces of Ukraine Denis Pushilin and Leonid Pasechnik.
