Russian troops launched a series of strikes on military and energy facilities Ukraine. This was announced on Monday, October 31, by the official representative of the Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov.

The representative of the Ministry of Defense added that Russian aviation, artillery and missile forces also attacked eight command posts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Zaporozhye and Mykolaiv regions. In addition, the firing positions of 57 artillery subunits and 136 enemy concentration areas were hit.

Earlier it became known about explosions in several regions of Ukraine at once, including Poltava, Vinnitsa, Kyiv, Dnepropetrovsk and other regions. It was reported about the work of air defense systems. Country authorities announced air raid alert Kyiv and some central regions.

In turn, the mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klichko declaredthat as a result of the strike on the capital of Ukraine, part of the city was de-energized, and water supply was turned off in a number of its districts. The head of the regional military administration, Aleksey Kuleba, stressed that in connection with the attack, the supply of electricity was being limited in the region.
