Named the most promising areas for the offensive of Russia in the Donbass

The territory of the DPR has to be liberated gradually because of the powerful fortified areas that the enemy has rebuilt in eight years. However, under Avdiivka and Artemovsk Russia there are successes. A Donetsk deputy spoke about this in a conversation with the VZGLYAD newspaper Vladislav Berdichevsky. Formerly Acting Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin reported on the advance of Russian forces in the republic.

Named the most promising areas for the offensive of the Russian Federation in the Donbass

“Active fighting continues in the Avdeevsky and Artemovsky directions, as well as near Ugledar. Our military is still going through the enemy’s first line of defense, which has been actively equipped for eight years. There, even underground, there is a whole system of communications and tunnels. So it’s not easy to attack, you have to break through every structure,” said Vladislav Berdichevsky, deputy of the People’s Council of the DPR.

He pointed to the difficult situation in the Maryinsky direction.

“Maryinka, Nevelskoye, Opytnoye, Pervomayskoye – all this is actually one agglomeration with powerful fortified areas,” the Donetsk deputy emphasized. “And we can’t just destroy them with powerful bombs, since our people live nearby, they can get hurt.”

The interlocutor called the Artemov direction the most promising in terms of offensive.

“There are not so serious fortified areas there,” the Donetsk deputy explains. – However, the enemy in this direction still has the opportunity to connect reserves. The situation is difficult in its own way, but in my opinion, we have a very good chance of success.”

According to Berdichevsky, the offensive in the DPR does not correlate in any way with defensive battles in the Nikolaev-Krivoy Rog, Zaporozhye and Kupyansk directions.

“In this regard, the front is broken. There is no possibility for a general offensive either from our side or from the side of the enemy,” he said.

The interlocutor also noted that the number of militants killed per day has recently decreased to an average of 200-300 people. He attributes this to weather conditions.

“The movement of equipment and personnel is now complicated. I think we will observe such figures in the reports of the Ministry of Defense before the onset of cold weather. The enemy, after all, also does not conduct active offensive operations along the entire line, ”concluded Berdichevsky.

Formerly Acting Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin reportedthat almost along the entire line of contact in the DPR, Russian forces are moving forward. At the same time, Ukraine sends fresh reserves to the line of contact.

“Not always prepared, but the enemy does not take into account the losses, and this must also be taken into account,” he said.

Pushilin in a video message also notedthat “there are certain successes” in the Maryinsky direction. In Marinka itself, new positions are also occupied. There are fights for Pavlovka, fighting continues in the directions of Nevelsky, Experienced, Pervomaisky. The situation in the Krasnolimansky direction is still the most difficult.
