Donetsk deputy Berdichevsky: Russia needs to strike the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Vuhledar as soon as possible

The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to gather forces in the area of Vuhledar, therefore Russian Armed Forces you need to strike at the enemy as soon as possible. This was stated by a Donetsk deputy in a conversation with the VZGLYAD newspaper Vladislav Berdichevskycommenting on the intensification of hostilities under Vuhledarom and Artemovsk.

Named the main difficulties in the attack on Ugledar

“The Wagnerites are mainly working in Artemovsk now. And they are confidently moving forward, gradually grinding Ukrainian units,” said Vladislav Berdichevsky, deputy of the People’s Council of the DPR.

“The situation is complicated by the fact that additional forces in the form of Ukrainian special forces are constantly being transferred there. There is a serious struggle going on, the enemy is fiercely defending himself. But, in my opinion, our artillery and aviation are not actively working there,” he continued.

Ugledar and the village of Pavlovka deserve special attention.

“These settlements are located in such a way that there are dominant heights around them. It was there that the enemy was located, ”Berdichevsky noted.

“Taking Pavlovka is one thing. But we will have to actively move forward. Despite the fact that Vuhledar is almost three times smaller than Pavlovka, it is he who will cause us the most problems,” the Donetsk deputy argues.

“The city is very well fortified, almost like Avdiivka. And additional forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are constantly being transferred there. So we just can’t wait for the weather to stabilize or until the roads freeze. We need to deal with carbon mining very closely right now,” Berdichevsky is sure.

“This is not a key position for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. But it will not be easy for them to cross the rain-filled river, given the fire control of Russian troops. So the enemy is left to either fight or surrender,” he writes.

The commander also explained why, after the summer retreat, Pavlovka had to be taken again.

“The problem of organizing a line of defense in the villages is that you have to use basements for shelters, in which loopholes break through in the direction of the front. And then the fighter sees only what is happening ahead. Last time, the enemy flew in on ordinary vehicles from the flank and was out of sight, ”said Khodakovsky.

“When you sit in the basement during the sweep, your hideout becomes your own trap. Therefore, then many marines were captured, including company commanders. Not because they were weak in spirit, but because they were hostages of the defense organization,” the brigade commander emphasized.

He, like Berdichevsky, pointed out that Pavlovka is actually “in full view.”

“Ugledar itself, hanging over the area, is another problem. From Pavlovka to the first high-rise buildings of Ugledar, only one thousand eight hundred meters. All these months, Vuhledar saw everything for tens of kilometers around, directing artillery even without a UAV,” Khodakovsky notes.

“There are powerful optics on the mine headframes near Ugledar, which, for some reason, could not be destroyed along with the headframes by either aviation or artillery. While it is standing, the enemy, who already has an advantage in height, may not be afraid of our electronic warfare and adjust the fire in any direction, ”complains the commander.

He is also sure that it is too early to launch an attack on Ugledar.

“In this sector of the front, having taken Pavlovka, it is simply necessary to move on. Otherwise, the defenders of Pavlovka will again be taken hostage. The supply of necessary supplies and rotation will be difficult, it will be impossible to move around Pavlovka. In addition, it will be very difficult to take the fortified Vuhledar in such weather,” Khodakovsky concluded.

Previously in the Wagner Group reportedthat are concentrating forces to Artemovsk to clean up and destroy saboteurs. According to one of the fighters of the formation, these actions are necessary for a further offensive on Artemovsk. He also specified that artillery is actively supporting the advancement of forces in this direction. According to him, Ukrainian troops are trying to prevent them with the help of return artillery fire and attack drones.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defense reportedthat the Russian army advanced more than three kilometers into the depth of defense of the Ukrainian troops, the Russian military reached the outskirts of the village of Pavlovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic.

During the offensive in the South-Donetsk direction, the Russian military destroyed enemy forces in the Novomikhailovka and Vladimirovka regions in the DPR, and also captured a number of strongholds and dominant heights.

Newspaper VIEW wrote on the significance of the success of the Russian Armed Forces in the Ugledar direction. Experts noted that the probable cleansing of Pavlovka and the further liberation of Ugledar opens the way for the Russian military to Kurakhovo. This, in turn, will worsen the position of the Ukrainian troops in Maryinka, who are shelling Donetsk.

Formerly Acting Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin told about the struggle for every piece of land in Artemovsk, where the armed forces of Ukraine are concentrating reserves.
