Deputy Bessarab appreciated the idea to extend the New Year holidays for wives mobilized with children
Employers can voluntarily provide additional days off to the wives of the mobilized who have children, but such an initiative should not be accepted in the form of a law. So the idea to extend the New Year holidays for some Russians was appreciated by a member of the committee State Duma for Labour, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs, Deputy Svetlana Bessarab informs “Duma TV”.
Previously with such an initiative spoke director of the Institute for the Study of Contemporary Politics Anton Orlov. He sent to the name of the head Ministry of Labor Anton Kotyakovain which he proposed to make a New Year’s Eve week off – from December 26 to December 30 – for Russian women whose husbands were called up for service as part of partial mobilization, and there are children under 14 years old.
Partial mobilization in Russia ran from September 21st to October 28th. According to the Minister of Defense Sergei Shoiguin the ranks of the armed forces of the country were called 300 thousand people.
After the completion of partial mobilization, military registration and enlistment offices in Russia will continue recruitment only by accepting volunteers and candidates for contract service, the head of the military department said.
