Russian Foreign Ministry: Moscow hopes that the meeting will help with the conclusion of a peace treaty

Deputy head Russian Foreign Ministry Andrey Rudenko told reporters that Moscow counts on progress towards the conclusion of a peace treaty between Yerevan and Baku after the trilateral meeting of the President of Russia Vladimir Putinprime minister Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and leader Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. “There are still many problems. I think they will all be spoken out, including at tomorrow’s meeting in Sochi. We hope that it will somehow make progress on the path of a number of issues, including the signing of a peace treaty,” Rudenko said.

At the request of journalists to comment statement Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan that a peace treaty could be signed before the end of the year, Rudenko replied with the phrase “everything can happen in this life.”
