Yonhap: South Korea fired air-to-ground missiles in response to North Korean provocation
South Korean military in response to launches North Korea launched on Wednesday, November 2, three air-to-ground missiles from fighter jets into the open sea near the northern boundary line, writes Yonhap News Agency.
The Committee of Chiefs of Staff of the Republic of Korea Armed Forces stated that seoul answered Pyongyang to a provocation. “The military, in response to the launch of a short-range ballistic missile, launched targeted air-to-surface missiles. F-15K, KF-16 aircraft launched three high-precision air-to-ground missiles,” the agency explained.
The military targeted a point north of the northern boundary line on the high seas. It is located at a distance corresponding to the distance to the place where the North Korean missile hit.
