Bloomberg: Twitter is trying to bring back employees who were fired by mistake

Twitter, bought in October by an American entrepreneur and billionaire Elon Musk, is trying to return part of the laid-off employees. About it informs Bloomberg citing sources.

“Some of those who are asked to return were dismissed by mistake,” the newspaper writes, citing data from interlocutors close to the cuts.

At the same time, the dismissal of some employees of the company is explained by the fact that the personnel decision was made before realizing the work experience and abilities of employees.

Formerly Bloomberg reportedthat, having become the owner of Twitter, Musk decided to revise his personnel policy and planned to fire about half of all employees. About 3.7 thousand out of 7.5 thousand workers may fall under the reduction, and the rest will be banned from remote work. The agency claims that these measures are aimed at reducing costs.
