“Inkom-Real Estate”: in October, the cost of housing in Moscow decreased by a percentage
In October 2022 at Moscow and Moscow region the cost of housing has fallen. Analysts of Inkom-Nedvizhimost told about it, reports News.ru.
According to experts, the rush demand for real estate has stopped in the region. As a result, since September, for a month, objects in Old Moscow have fallen in price by a percentage to 277.9 thousand rubles per square meter. In New Moscow, the average price of a “square” decreased by 0.3 percent to 203.2 thousand rubles. As for the Moscow region, by October, housing in the region lost 0.4 percent in price – the cost per square meter dropped to 138.8 thousand rubles.
The experts found that the volume of supply has increased in the Moscow region. Compared to September, 5.3 percent more apartments were put up for sale in the old boundaries of Moscow and 46.5 percent more than in the same period in 2021. In the Moscow region, the number of housing offered for sale increased by 4.3 percent over the month and by 19.3 percent over the year.
Formerly Director General of the Moscow Real Estate Investment Agency Valery Letenkov declaredthat, following the results of September 2022, three categories of secondary real estate fell in price in Moscow. He attributed to them objects sold by proxy at a discount, apartments without repair and real estate, recently received as an inheritance.
