RBC: reduction in sales of Ariel and Tide increased demand for Russian laundry detergents

AT Russia increased demand for domestic laundry detergents instead of foreign ones. About it informs RBC.

According to the publication, the trend is observed on the example of two brands – Ariel and Tide, which are produced by American concern Procter & Gamble. According to Ipsos, in the third quarter of 2022, Ariel and Tide decreased their share in the consumer basket of Russians compared to last year.

At the same time, the share of sales of the powder of one of the most popular Russian brands, Eared Nyan, has grown significantly. In July-September 2022, it was 10.7 percent against 8.9 percent last year.

The information was also confirmed by the Russian retailer “Magnet”. In his stores, sales of domestic powder are up about 70 percent from last year.

Previously reportedthat during the period from January to September, furniture sales increased in Russia. Over the year, in monetary terms, the dynamics reached 42 percent.
