The Russian Ambassador to the United States inspected the blocked Russian diplomatic property in San Francisco
Ambassador RF in USA Anatoly Antonov inspected Russian diplomatic property blockaded by the US government in San Francisco, California State. This is reported TASS.
On November 6, the ambassador toured the residence of the Consul General of Russia; earlier, during his working trip, he visited the building of the Consulate General itself. These facilities are the property of the Russian Federation, but have remained blocked by the US authorities since 2017.
Antonov said that before his arrival in San Francisco, the Russian embassy in Washington requested from US State Department permission to visit both sites, but received a categorical refusal. “Nevertheless, we looked at this blocked property. We found no visible damage. The curtains on the windows are closed. There are no other cars. The buildings are empty,” the ambassador said.
Formerly Anatoly Antonov warned on the risks of extending the price ceiling for goods of interest to the West, including gas and metals. According to the diplomat, Moscow will stop deliveries to those states that decide to use a restrictive mechanism to artificially keep prices down.
