Somali army kills two terrorists

Soldiers of the National Army of Somalia eliminated two terrorists from the al-Shabab group (an organization whose activities are banned in the Russian Federation) during a special operation in the north of the country, the press service of the Somali armed forces reports.

It is reported that the military carried out a sweep in the settlements of the Lower Jubba region. During the operation, two terrorists were eliminated, four more were taken alive. The military also seized a large stockpile of weapons and explosives. In addition, the terrorists’ command post in Lower Jubba was destroyed.

As reported IA REGNUM, On June 17, the Somali military eliminated at least 42 terrorists from the al-Shabab group (an organization whose activities are banned in the Russian Federation) during a battle in the state of Galmudug. They managed to repel the attack of militants on the settlement.
