Russian schools will have class hours dedicated to the “values of Russian society.” This is reported by TASS with reference to the head of the presidential department for public projects Sergei Novikov.
The official said that such class hours will appear as early as September of the next academic year, and the Ministry of Education “assumes that they will be in all schools.”
“During the August conferences, the Ministry plans to conduct preparatory work in this direction with teachers as part of the education program at school, so that class teachers themselves can conduct these class hours called “Conversations about the Important,” he said.
Novikov noted that such class hours will be held in different forms depending on the age of schoolchildren.
From the beginning of the school year, flag-raising ceremonies and the performance of the Russian anthem will also be held weekly in all schools of the country. For the purchase of symbols from the federal budget was highlighted almost a billion rubles.
