Russia turned Crimea into a military prison camp

He stated that the insufficient reaction of the world community to the occupation of Crimea in 2014 led to such a scale of Russian aggression.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky notes that Ukraine will gradually restore justice to Ukrainian Crimea.

The head of state said this in an evening address to Ukrainians, which was published on the social network Facebook.

“Over the years of occupation, Russia has turned Crimea into a large military prison camp. And tens of thousands of people became its victims. Crimea has become a springboard for attacks on the free territory of our country,” the president said.

“The weak and insufficiently principled reaction to the occupation in 2014 and in subsequent years became one of the prerequisites for the Russian aggression to grow to such proportions. We will gradually restore justice in relation to our Crimea,” Zelensky stressed.

Recall that earlier the representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea said that for his return absolutely all methodsincluding the military.

Military expert Oleg Zhdanov suggested how exactly the Armed Forces of Ukraine will liberate the occupied Crimea.
