Private from Karelia, who served as a driver, died in the Donbass

Another resident of Karelia – an ordinary contract service Igor Kolosovwho served in the ranks of the Russian army, died in the line of military duty during a special operation to protect the Donbass.

As the head of the Republic of Karelia announced on June 24 Artur Parfenchikov, Kolosov was a native of the village of Uuksu, Pitkyaranta region, served as a driver in the anti-tank missile squad of a motorized rifle battalion. The governor offered condolences to the families and friends of the deceased soldier.

As specified in the administration of the Pitkyarantsky district of Karelia, Igor Kolosov died June 21, 2022. He was 34 years old.

According to the authorities of Karelia, by now 19 servicemen associated with the republic, place of birth or residence, have died in the performance of military duty during a special operation.
