Peskov explained the decline in supplies through the Nord Stream gas pipeline

The volume of natural gas supplies through the Nord Stream pipeline has been temporarily reduced due to maintenance work. This was announced on June 23 by the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov.

“Our German counterparts are well aware of all the technological cycles of gas pipeline maintenance, they are well aware of this. It has been working flawlessly for many years,” Peskov told reporters.

Commenting on fears in the West that the reasons for the decline in supplies could be political, Peskov said it was strange to drag politics into everything. However, he suggested that if the turbine sent for repair is not returned, then this is, indeed, not quite a technological reason for the decrease in supply volumes.
