Russia has an advantage in armament, in particular in artillery. The Armed Forces of Ukraine will need to use their resources effectively during the counteroffensive in order to neutralize this.

About this in an interview for “RBC-Ukraine” Sergei Rakhmanin, a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, said.

He noted that Ukraine will not be able to use the tactics of the Russians because of their advantage in the number of weapons and manpower.

“Even if we manage to mobilize a large number of people, create a multiple superiority for an offensive, at least three to one, then we definitely won’t be able to create such an advantage in weapons, in particular in artillery. All artillery systems, from MLRS to self-propelled and trailed artillery, have they still have a large supply of ammunition,” Rakhmanin explained.

At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will effectively use their resources: they will land bridges in the air, cut off the communications of the occupiers and encircle the enemy for further destruction.

“We have less artillery than the Russians, but according to many even Russian experts, our artillery works better and more accurately. quantity, which does not yet allow to create parity with the Russians,” the people’s deputy emphasized.

Rakhmanin noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will squeeze the Russians out not with the help of breaking through, but through maneuvers, coverage, forcing them to either retreat or surrender.

As UNIAN previously reported, the Russian invaders failed the assault in one of the directions.
