According to the results of ten months of this year, the trade turnover between Russia and China reached almost $154 billion, which is 33% more than in the same period last year.
According to TASS with reference to the data of the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China, in January-October, exports to Russia from China amounted to about $59.6 billion, which is 12.8% more than the previous same period. During the same time, imports of goods and services from Russia increased one and a half times, to $94.3 billion.
As of the end of October, the volume of trade between Russia and China amounted to more than $17.6 billion. Russian exports accounted for $7.4 billion, and Chinese imports — $10.2 billion.
Most of the exports from the Russian Federation are oil, natural gas and coal, as well as copper, copper ore, timber, fuel and seafood. China supplies a wide range of goods to Russia, a significant proportion of which are smartphones, industrial and specialized equipment, as well as toys, shoes, cars and computers.
The countries plan to increase the volume of trade to $200 billion by the end of 2022.
