According to the research holding Romir, the weekly expenses of Russians from October 24 to October 30 decreased by 2.4% compared to the previous week, to 5,406 rubles. The size of the average ticket fell by 0.9% to 661 rubles, which is 0.8% lower than in the same period last year.
“In the period from October 24 to October 30, the average weekly expenses of Russians decreased by 2.4% compared to the previous week. Weekly spending index amounted to 5406 rubles. In annual dynamics, the index rose by 3.1%. The average check index decreased by 0.9% compared to the previous week and amounted to 661 rubles in monetary terms. For the first time in a year, the average check was lower compared to the same period last year – the difference was 0.8%, ”the study says.
The average check index reflects the dynamics of one-time spending by Russians (without large purchases over 15 thousand rubles) living in cities with a population of 100 thousand inhabitants or more.
