The Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation intends to send 150 Russian teachers to schools in Kyrgyzstan in 2023 as part of the Russian Teacher Abroad project, the press service of the ministry said.
“The Russian Teacher Abroad project is attracting more and more attention from foreign countries. As part of the project, an agreement was reached between the Ministry of Education of Russia and the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan that 150 teachers will be sent to schools in Kyrgyzstan in 2023,” the ministry said.
In addition, Deputy Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Denis Gribov and Deputy Minister of Education of Kyrgyzstan Nadira Dzhusupbekova signed an agreement on the operation of a school built in the republic with the participation of Gazprom. Education there will be held in Russian and according to Russian educational standards.
“It is important for us to provide schools teaching in Russian with high-quality methodological support in accordance with Russian standards. The Gazprom school was opened in 2019, and today, thanks to our work within the framework of international cooperation, educational programs of the two countries will be implemented in it and the children will be able to receive the relevant certificates,” Gribov emphasized.
