The head of the self-proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic, Leonid Pasechnik, presented the Hero of the LPR award to the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov. The award ceremony was held in Grozny, TASS reports.

According to Pasechnik’s decree, Kadyrov was awarded the new title for “heroism, courage and bravery shown in the performance of military duty during a special military operation.”

The head of the LPR also thanked the residents of Chechnya for their help in “opposing the Ukrainian Nazis”, informs RIA News.

In turn, the head of Chechnya presented Pasechnik and Secretary of the United Russia General Council Andrei Turchak, who was also present at the ceremony, with Akhmat Kadyrov Orders. Head of the self-proclaimed republic of Donbass awarded “for the strengthening of Russian statehood and a significant contribution to relations between Chechnya and the LNR,” and Turchak – “for strengthening Russian statehood.”

Ramzan Kadyrov regularly talks on his Telegram channel about the fact that servicemen from Chechnya are participating in the war in Ukraine. Their units are fighting as part of Russian troops. In addition, the head of Chechnya constantly comments on the course of hostilities.

At the end of July, Kadyrov informedthat the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin awarded him the Order of Alexander Nevsky for “effective solution of tasks of great national importance.”
