Ukrainian refugees who illegally entered the UK may be deported to Rwanda. Prime Minister of the Kingdom told reporters Boris Johnson, located in the Rwandan capital of Kigali, where the British Commonwealth summit takes place.
The head of government said that the country’s authorities issued 130,000 visas to internally displaced persons from Ukraine. According to Johnson, Ukrainian refugees are given two legal routes to enter the UK.
At the same time, the Prime Minister stressed that he considers it unlikely that a decision will be made to deport illegal immigrants to Rwanda.
As reported IA REGNUMearlier the British newspaper The Guardian published an article by a columnist Emily Dugan, which says that hundreds of Ukrainian refugees were left homeless, having arrived in the UK on visas that give their holders the right to allocate housing.
