In the Stavropol Territory, a verdict was passed in the case of desecration of the Eternal Flame memorial in Nevinnomyssk. One of the three participants in the crime was found guilty of committing an act of vandalism – desecration of the symbols of Russia’s military glory and insulting the memory of the defenders of the Fatherland. Affairs his accomplices have been singled out in a separate proceeding and they have yet to appear in court, the press service of the Investigative Committee for the region reported on June 24.

Recall On March 26, 2022, three residents of the Stavropol Territory aged 17 and 19, as well as 21 years old, relieved themselves for a symbol of the eternal memory of the people about the victims of the Great Patriotic War. On this fact, a criminal case of vandalism was initiated.

The youngest of the participants in the crime was the first to appear before the court. He was sentenced as one year of imprisonment in an educational colony.
