Heavy rains kill 12 in Pakistan

At least 12 people have died as a result of heavy rains in the province of Balochistan in southwestern Pakistan, the press service of the regional emergency management said.

Eight women and one child were among the dead. According to preliminary data, people died due to floods or the collapse of the roofs of residential buildings. The downpours also destroyed crops in a number of regions and harmed cattle. Currently, the authorities in the province of Balochistan are making efforts to deal with the consequences of natural disasters.
