France continues to receive Russian gas

France is allegedly able to refuse Russian gas, but so far continues to import it “in reduced quantity”. This was announced by the French Minister of Energy Transition Agnès Pannier-Runachet On June 23, BFM TV channel is on the air.

She argues that the economy of the republic may stop using blue fuel from Russia, switching to liquefied natural gas. However, the official emphasized that such a process depends on “many factors”including supplies of Algerian and Norwegian raw materials.

As reported IA REGNUMearlier in the French gas transmission network GRTgaz announced that from June 15, the import of Russian blue fuel through the Germany-France stream was reduced to zero, and Paris will no longer receive gas from Russia through this pipeline.
