Businessman Elon Musk filed a counterclaim against Twitter. It is reported by CNBC.

Musk’s lawyers asked not to disclose details of the lawsuit. At the same time, the TV channel notes, according to the rules of the court, this information can be made public after some time.

The lawsuit was filed hours after the court set October 17 for the start of Twitter’s lawsuit against Musk, in which the company is demanding that the businessman complete its purchase.

Musk announced he was pulling out of his Twitter purchase in early July, saying the company hadn’t provided him with data to estimate the number of bots, which was important for understanding ad audiences. Twitter considered the refusal far-fetched and demanded that the court oblige Musk to complete the purchase.

Musk originally planned to buy Twitter for $44 billion. The businessman announced the deal in April.
