Former Deputy Prime Minister Russia Anatoly Chubais ended up in the intensive care unit of one of the European clinics.

Chubais has been diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome, a rare disease of the immune system that leads to muscle weakness, pain or numbness, and in more severe cases, paralysis, she said.

In a comment by Chubais himself, cited by Sobchak, he claims that his condition is “moderate, stable.”
