Burbock says Russia ‘uses hunger as a weapon’

Russia allegedly “uses hunger as a weapon,” the head of the German Foreign Ministry said on June 24 Annalena burbock.

“Russia is quite consciously using hunger as a military weapon, taking the whole world hostage,” she said at a briefing in Berlin.

Burbock expressed solidarity with the people in Ukraine and the “global South” who are suffering because of the “grain war unleashed by Russia.”

As reported IA REGNUMformer Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Sergei Lavrov stated that the UN Secretary General António Guterres is prolonging the food crisis.
