Blockade of Ukrainian ports – the first ship with Ukrainian grain arrived in Turkey – UNIAN

Now the ship has anchored in a certain place at the entrance to the Bosphorus Strait from the Black Sea.


First vessel with Ukrainian corn, which left the port of Odessa on August 1, has already reached the coast of Turkey.

This is stated in the message of the Ministry of National Defense Turkey.

Dry cargo ship RAZONI, loaded with corn, which left the port of Odessa in Ukraine yesterday, reached the entrance to the Bosphorus from the Black Sea and anchored in a certain place.

July 22 in Istanbul an agreement was signed to unblock three Ukrainian ports – “Odessa”, “Chernomorsk” and “Yuzhny” – for the export of grain and other agricultural products.

Infrastructure Minister of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov and Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu signed separate identical agreements with the UN and Turkey.

Control over the ports “Odessa”, “Chernomorsk” and “Yuzhny” remains entirely with the Ukrainian side.

The term of the agreement is 120 days with the possibility of extension. The Ukrainian and Russian military approved the export routes. Military escort of cargo is not provided. Vessels that go to Ukraine will be inspected for the presence of weapons, representatives of the Russian Federation are also involved.

On the morning of August 1, the first full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine left the Odessa seaport ship with Ukrainian food. The Sierra Leone-flagged cargo ship Razoni is heading to the port of Tripoli in Lebanon with 26,000 tons of corn.
