In addition, he pointed out that for the first time representatives of the countries of the Asia-Pacific region will participate in the bloc’s summit in Madrid.
“For the first time, the leaders of Australia, Japan, New Zealand and South Korea will attend the summit, which will provide an opportunity to convey the message that the United States and its allies will defend the principles of independence and territorial integrity, regardless of their location,” Kirby stated.
