There are no problems with the exit of dry cargo ships under the Turkish flag from the Black Sea ports of Ukraine. Such a statement on Tuesday, November 1, was made by Turkish Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar.

The head of the Turkish defense department noted that as of October 31, ships that left Ukrainian ports and were at sea continued their journey without difficulty, informs RIA News. Akar said that Turkish-flagged ships loaded with Ukrainian agro-industrial products would continue to export them.

The Minister also stressed that Turkey will continue its mediation efforts in order to resolve the issues of the export of Russian grain, foodstuffs and chemicals.

On November 1, the presidents of the Russian Federation and Turkey held a telephone conversation in which they discussed further implementation of the “grain deal” after Moscow’s decision to suspend participation in the agreement. According to the Turkish leader, Ankara continues to come forward to all parties with initiatives aimed at solving problems in this area. Turkey also expressed the opinion that it is possible to resolve the grain crisis with the help of a constructive approach.
