Several ships of the Northern Fleet of Russia are on long-distance voyages at once, in particular, a detachment of large landing ships (BDK) is in the Black Sea. This was announced on Sunday, October 30, in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
A detachment of amphibious ships of the Northern Fleet as part of the BDK “Olenegorsky Miner”, “Pyotr Morgunov”, “George Pobedonosets”, says on the website of the Ministry of Defense. The frigate “Admiral Kasatonov” continues to operate in the Mediterranean Sea.
Another detachment, which is headed by the large anti-submarine ship (BOD) Severomorsk, is in the North Atlantic. BOD “Severomorsk” is engaged in the implementation of the planned tasks of combat training in the waters of the Barents and Kara Seas.
In April, the frigate “Admiral Kasatonov” and other ships of the Northern and Pacific Fleets conducted anti-submarine exercises in the Mediterranean. They worked out the tasks of searching and tracking.
