On the land borders of Russia, 16 checkpoints will be reconstructed. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin on Wednesday, November 2.

According to him, earlier there were not enough financial resources for the modernization of checkpoints, informs RIA News. Now the situation has changed. “84 points pass 80% of the total turnover, 16 of them will be reconstructed, 49 will have non-capital measures,” the Deputy Prime Minister said. In addition, he stressed that the throughput of points in new regions has significantly increased. Currently, work is carried out manually due to the huge flow of construction equipment and materials.

Earlier it became known that the three-year development plan new regions are planned to be approved by the end of 2022. In the future, the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions will be included in the strategy for the development of the Russian construction industry until 2030. The plan for the development of new regions will include measures both for construction and for the development of the economy, the banking sector, and medicine.
